Import Licenses  of Negative List From DGFT

Import License for Restricted Items (Negative License) on approval, are issued by in DGFT, HQ, New Delhi.

An application for grant of an Authorisation for import of items mentioned as restricted in ITC (HS) is to be made DGFT, HQ, New Delhi in Form ANF 2M.
DGFT (HQ) approves the application for issues of License. Before giving approval, DGFT seeks clearance from the related Ministries as well. Generally, time taken by DGFT in this approval is about 6– 12 weeks.

For import of Cut Tyres, Refurbished computer parts, various type of Scraps and other restricted items like exotic fish, refrigerant gases lithium batteries etc., this license is required.
