IEC issuance & modification

This is a mandatory registration document / unique code for any Export / Import activity in India. In short, IEC is like an ID card for any Exporter / Importer for doing import as well as export activity.

The process of application for IEC is completely electronic and paperless.

Rs. 500/- is the prescribed application Govt. fee for fresh IEC application & for modification in IEC, Govt. fee is Rs. 200/- .

For Issuance of IEC – documents required for Proprietorship / Partnership firm / Private Limited or Public Ltd. companies are different.
