The Licensing benefits from DGFT / MOC work involves submission of number of documents which needs to be checked for internal consistency and inter-correlation to make proper application. There are detailed criteria of filing these applications which requires extensive analysis of the documents and understanding of the commercial / legal aspects of the Foreign Trade Policy.
Documents are “soul” of Licensing and fulfil the commercial as well as regulatory requirements of Foreign Trade Policy. The process of preparing these applications / documents involves various stages of interrelated rules / procedures such as Customs, Shipping, Banks etc. Meticulous planning and care is required on the partof exporters and importers, while preparing these applications / claim documents, otherwise there may be problems to exporter in finalization of license application / claims for payments, due to discrepancy in documents.
